Frequently Asked Questions
Enrollment is limited to 30 players per program.
Each session is staffed by four MaxPro coaches, creating a maximum coach-to-player ratio of 1:7.5.
This structure allows for individualized instruction, detailed feedback, and a high-quality training experience throughout the season.
MaxPro Skills is specialized hockey training, not a team practice.
Players are grouped throughout each session based on age, skill level, and training objectives to ensure an appropriate challenge level and maximize development opportunities.
This allows coaches to provide more targeted instruction while maintaining a productive and development-focused training environment.
We understand that scheduling conflicts occasionally arise.
Saturday and Sunday participants are eligible for up to two make-up sessions per season.
Consistent attendance is strongly encouraged, as player development is built through regular participation and repetition.
Please note that there are no makeups for Friday programs.

Yes.
In order to be eligible for a make-up session, MaxPro must be notified of the player’s absence prior to the scheduled session.
If notification is received after the session has already taken place, the absence will not be eligible for a make-up session.
We understand that unexpected situations occasionally arise, but advance notice allows us to manage attendance and make-up opportunities fairly for all participants.
Please note that there are no makeups for Friday programs.
Players eligible for a make-up session should visit the MaxPro Skills Make-Up Session Registration and select a make-up date from the available options.
Only sessions with available space will appear as selectable options within the registration.
If you are unable to select a particular session, that indicates the session is not available as a make-up option due to capacity limitations. In that case, please select another available session.
Make-up sessions are offered on a space-available basis and are not guaranteed for any specific date or program.
Please note that there are no makeups for Friday programs.
Yes.
We are happy to accommodate transfers to another MaxPro Skills session provided space remains available.
Please note that players cannot be transferred into a program that has already reached its 30-player capacity.
If a player transfers into a program with a higher registration fee, the difference in tuition will automatically be billed at the time of transfer.
If a player transfers into a program with a lower registration fee, no refund or account credit will be issued. Instead, the player will receive make-up sessions at another MaxPro Skills program during the same season to account for the difference in session value. MaxPro will assist families in arranging these make-up sessions.
All transfers are subject to availability and must occur within the same MaxPro Skills season.

MaxPro Skills is a season-long development program designed around consistency, progression, and long-term player growth. Registration is specific to the individual participant and may not be transferred to a sibling, friend, or teammate for a single session.
Our training curriculum is built upon concepts and skills that are reinforced throughout the season. We believe meaningful development occurs through consistent participation over time, not through occasional attendance or isolated sessions.
For this reason, substitute participants are not permitted, even if a registered player is unable to attend a particular session.
