
MaxPro Skills at Dexter Southfield 2025-2026
PROGRAM OVERVIEW
MaxPro Hockey Club presents an innovative skill development initiative for the 2025-2026 hockey season. Our comprehensive training program follows a progressive and sequential curriculum, addressing all facets of player development. To fully experience the program’s benefits and achieve optimal results, participants are required to commit to the entire program in order to participate.
Scheduled from September 2025 through February 2026, this program is meticulously crafted by Coach Max Gratchev. To ensure focused attention and quality interaction, only 30 players will be accepted for each program.
Open to players of all skill levels and team affiliations, this rigorous program provides a dedicated platform for honing hockey skills. Please note that the program exclusively focuses on on-ice training and does not include off-ice components. Join us on this journey of skill enhancement and player development!

Crafted by Coach Max Gratchev, the MaxPro Skills training curriculum encompasses the essential elements of skating, stickhandling, checking, and gameplay. This comprehensive approach ensures that aspiring players receive a well-rounded education in every facet of the game. The training sessions are not only highly effective but also exhilarating and fast-paced, fostering an environment conducive to positive development and growth.

SESSION DATES
- If a session must be rescheduled for any reason (i.e. inclement weather, etc.), it will be moved to the first week of March 2026.
- If any schedule changes are made over the course of the program, the changes will be communicated via email and posted here on the program page.
- All email communication for the program will be directed to the email address used to register the player for the program.

Dexter Southfield School is not involved in the ownership or management of any MaxPro Hockey Club program.
DROP-OFF AND PICK-UP
- Players should be dropped off no more than thirty minutes prior to the start of their program.
- Players must be picked up within fifteen minutes of their program conclusion time.
- Parents/guardians only need to accompany their players for check-in for the first session of the season.
- All MaxPro participants are required to use the rink entrance off St. Paul’s Avenue.
EQUIPMENT
- Players are responsible for supplying their own personal protective equipment, gear, skates, and stick for the program.
- MaxPro will not be supplying any items other than one practice jersey at the first session in the program.
LOCKER ROOMS
- Locker room assignments will be posted on the white board prior to each training sessions. We will point at the white board location at check-in on the first day of the program.
- There are locker rooms designated for male, female, and nonbinary players. Please be mindful of these designations when reviewing the locker room assignments on the white board.
MAKE-UP POLICY
- We understand that schedule conflicts arise and are willing to accommodate two make-up sessions for the season.
REGISTRATION
- We do not accept drop-ins for MaxPro Skills.
- All MaxPro registrations are non-refundable.
- We do accept late registrants, subject to availability. The registration fee will also be prorated for participants joining after the program has commenced. If you are interested in joining, please email CGratchev@MaxProHockeyClub.com for more information.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
All MaxPro registrations are processed through Sports Engine Motion. You must establish a Sports Engine Motion account prior to registration to secure a spot for your player in the program. Once you have a Sports Engine Motion account, visit our registration page to complete your program registration.
We accept 30 players per training program to ensure each participant receives ample attention and guidance throughout the season.
MaxPro Skills is specialized hockey training, not a team practice. Each participant is responsible for their individual effort with the training curriculum presented. At every session, the players are divided into sub-groups based on age and skill level to ensure tailored training that maximizes their development.
Registration will remain open until all 30 spots are filled. Historically, our programs have filled every prior season, so we encourage you to register as soon as possible to secure your spot.
We allow two make-up sessions during the season. However, consistent attendance is highly encouraged to ensure participants experience the full benefits of the program. Regular attendance is key to maximizing the development opportunities offered through MaxPro Skills.
We are happy to move your player to any other session that has spots available. However, we will not be able to move your player into a program once 30 players have already registered for it. We recommend confirming the best session for your player at the time of registration to avoid any complications later.
Registrants will have the option to pay for the program in full at the time of registration or split the registration into three equal installments:
- One third due at the time of registration
- One third due on May 28
- Final third due on June 28
The May 28 and June 28 installments will auto-deduct from the payment method available through your Sports Engine Motion account.
For the High School program on Fridays from 6:00 PM-8:00 PM, we only offer the option to pay for the program in full at the time of registration.
We do not offer any discounts for our programs, including sibling discounts. All participants will pay the full registration fee.
MaxPro Skills at Dexter Southfield for the 2025-2026 season is not suitable for players new to skating or ice hockey. We are not offering a Developmental Skills program for the 2025-2026 season.
MaxPro Skills at Dexter Southfield for the 2025-2026 season does not offer goalie-specific training. This program is designed for skaters. However, if your goalie would like to hop in the net for repetitions, please inquire via email for potential opportunities.
