Red Machine is a full-day, weeklong training program.
We are offering six weeks of Red Machine over the course of summer 2024.
Each week of Red Machine is a separate program.
Each week of Red Machine covers the same curriculum, which includes on-ice training, off-ice training, and off-ice shooting/stickhandling.
The on-ice training curriculum will entail the fundamentals of skating, stickhandling, checking, and game play.
The off-ice training will entail running, plyometrics, body weight training, agility, stretching, and off-ice shooting and stickhandling.
This program is suitable for players with 2006-2018 birth years.
We accept 30 players per week of Red Machine.

Players should be dropped-off no earlier than 8:30 AM.
Players must be picked-up by 5:15 PM.
Should any player need to be picked-up early from the program, we must receive written notice to CGratchev@MaxProHockeyClub.com, specifying what time the player will be picked-up and who will be picking the player up.
Early pick-up will occur at the rink entrance closest to Daughters of St. Paul off of St. Paul Avenue (not the entrance by the football field).
COST & REGISTRATION
The cost of Red Machine is $999 per week, before the standard Sports Engine processing fee.
We do not offer an option to drop-in for single days of training.
Program participants must register and pay for all programs via Sports Engine. Physical registrations and physical forms of payments are not accepted.
As a friendly reminder, we do NOT maintain waitlists for any programs.
All MaxPro programs are non-refundable.
PREPARATION FOR RED MACHINE
On-ice training attire: multiple changes of on-ice attire since more than one on-ice training segment will be conducted each day, all personal protective equipment, practice jersey, socks, skates, etc.
Off-ice training attire: multiple changes of off-ice attire since more than one off-ice training segment will be conducted each day, T-shirt, shorts, tennis shoes, appropriate socks, hat, etc.
Personal water bottle: either refillable or multiple non-refillable, MaxPro Hockey Club will not be providing water bottles, water refill stations will be available, water bottles should be marked with player name
Street hockey stick/backup hockey stick: needed for stick-work off the ice
Lunch: participants must provide their own lunch daily
Snacks/drinks: something quick to have during the transitions between training segments, sports drinks
Off-ice training will be conducted outside. Players should prepare accordingly if they suffer from seasonal allergies.
Please pre-apply sunscreen. We will have sunscreen available for reapplication.
No unnecessary electronics. All electronics, including cell phones, must remain inside the player's bag for the duration of the day.
LOCKER ROOMS
Players are able to utilize the same locker room for the duration of each training day.
There will be locker rooms designated for male players and for female players.
Participants will be permitted to leave their bags at the facility overnight. Locker rooms will be locked over night.
At the conclusion of each training day, players are responsible for ensuring all of their items are packed into their hockey bag and that hockey bags are placed on top of the bench. No items should be left on the floor, so that the locker rooms are able to be properly cleaned.
WAIVERS
All waivers required for program participation will be collected at the time of registration.
Once the registration has been completed and a confirmation email from Sports Engine has been received, no further action is required on your end for securing your player's spot in the program.
OTHER NOTES
Players should be dropped-off and picked-up at rink entrance closest to Daughters of St. Paul off of St. Paul Avenue (not the entrance near the football field).
On Monday morning only, a parent/guardian must check-in their players with a MaxPro staff member to receive a training jersey, T-shirt, and locker room assignment.
The training days are demanding, so it is critical that all players are properly fueled and hydrated. Please pack multiple snacks, multiple drinks, and a full lunch each day.
The most forgotten item at Red Machine is sneakers for the off-ice training segments! Please ensure your player has appropriate athletic shoes for the off-ice segments. Crocs, slides, etc., are not acceptable for off-ice training.
Coaches will be available to assist with gear/skate tying during transitions off and on the ice.
