OVERVIEW

• For the 2023-2024 hockey season, MaxPro Hockey Club is offering a progressive,  skill development program.
• The training curriculum will be sequential and encompass all aspects of player development. 
• In order for participants to reap the full benefits and results of the program, commitment to the entire program is required.
• This program begins in September 2023 and concludes in March 2024.
• All training curriculum has been curated by Coach Max Gratchev.
• Coach Max Gratchev will be on the ice for all training sessions. 
• Only 25 total players will be accepted per program. 
• This program is open to all players, regardless of skill level or team affiliation.
• This is an on-ice program and does not include off-ice training.

Session Dates

• If any schedule changes are made over the course of the program, the changes will be communicated via email and posted here on the program page. 
• All email communication for the program will be directed to the email address used to register the player for the program.
• Please keep in mind that we do not follow school holiday calendars. 

LOCATION

Drop-Off and Pick-Up

• Players should be dropped off no more than thirty minutes prior to the start of their program. 
• Players must be picked up within fifteen minutes of their program conclusion time.
• Parents/guardians only need to accompany their players for check-in for the first session of the season.

Jersey and Water Bottle

• During check-in at your player’s first session, they will receive a MaxPro training jersey and a MaxPro water bottle.
• Players should wear MaxPro jerseys to their training sessions and must pack their own personal water bottle (labeled with player name) for the program.
• MaxPro will not be providing water/water bottles at the training sessions.
• Water refill stations are available around the rink.

Equipment

• Players are responsible for supplying their own personal protective equipment, gear, skates, and stick for the program.
• MaxPro will not be supplying any items other than one practice jersey at the first session in the program.

Locker Rooms

• Locker room assignments will be posted on the white board prior to each training sessions. We will point at the white board location at check-in on the first day of the program.
• There are locker rooms designated for male players and locker rooms designated for female players. Please be mindful of these designations when reviewing the locker room assignments on the white board.

make-up policy

• We understand that schedule conflicts arise and are willing to accommodate ONE make-up session for the season.
• The Future Absence registration will function to document absences, keep a record of make-up sessions owed, and identify openings for absent players to make-up training. 
• If your player is anticipating an absence from VIP Skills, please complete the Future Absence registration to document the absence as soon as you are made aware of the conflict. 
• For a make-up session to be honored, the Future Absence registration must be submitted 48 hours prior to the absence.
• We will not be offering make-up sessions for absences communicated in any manner other than via the Future Absence registration. We kindly ask that you refrain from notifying us of absences via email, phone, or in person.
• We will not be honoring make-up session for absences communicated with less than 48 hours notice.
• As soon as your registration is received, we will contact you to schedule a make-up session via email. You do not need to send us an email confirming that the registration was submitted. 
• All make-up sessions will be hosted at Fusco Arena at Dexter Southfield School.  
• All make-ups must be completed prior to March 1, 2024. Make-up sessions will not be honored after the program concludes.
• If your player fails to attend a scheduled make-up session without 48 hours notice, a second make-up session will not be scheduled.
