Coronavirus (COVID-19) Advisory

We hope this communication finds you, your family, and friends healthy and staying safe! MaxPro Hockey Club would like to extend a sincere thank you to our medical, front line, and essential workers for putting themselves in harm’s way to meet our needs.

A phased reopening of Massachusetts is currently underway. The goal of this phased reopening is to methodically allow businesses, services, and activities to resume, while avoiding a resurgence of COVID-19. Each phase will last a minimum of three weeks and could last longer before moving to the next phase. If public health metrics fall below thresholds, there is a chance of potential reversion back to a prior phase.

The social guidance currently in place for all phases of the reopening is as follows:

  • Cover your face
  • Wash your hands
  • Socially distance
  • Be vigilant for symptoms
  • Stay home if you feel sick

MaxPro Hockey Club will follow the phased reopening guidelines Governor Baker has established for recreation and outdoor industries, which are as follows:

  • Phase One or the “Start” permits opening of the following with guidelines: beaches, parks, drive-in theaters, some athletic fields and courts, many outdoor adventure activities, most fishing, hunting and boating, outdoor gardens, zoos, reserves, and public installations. The gathering size for Phase One is limited to ten or less people.
  • Phase Two, titled “Cautious”, permits opening of the following with guidelines: campgrounds, playgrounds and spray decks, public and community pools, all athletic fields and courts, and youth sports in limited fashion. The gathering size for Phase Two is limited to ten or less people.
  • Phase Three, or “Vigilant”, permits opening of the following with guidelines: additional recreation and outdoor activities and services, and youth sports with games and tournaments (limited crowd sizes). The gathering size for Phase Three will be determined based on trends.
  • Phase Four, or the “New Normal”, permits full resumption of outdoor recreation and activities.  The gathering size for Phase Four will be determined based on trends.

Additionally, MaxPro Hockey Club will be indefinitely implementing a set of mandatory safety standards that include social distancing, hygiene, staffing, and operational protocols, as well as required cleaning and disinfectant measures. All program participants and coaches will be required to abide by both the MaxPro Hockey Club safety standards and the safety standards established by the ice rink that the program is being hosted at in order to minimize opportunities for COVID-19 transmission.

At this time, we are only able to share the current direction from Governor Baker regarding recreation and outdoor industries. No training programs have been cancelled, only postponed. We are in constant communication with the ice rinks we partner with to create solutions for each program that has been affected by postponement. ONCE WE RECEIVE CONFIRMED REOPENING DATES FROM THE ICE RINKS AND THE GOVERNOR, WE WILL ANNOUNCE ALL PROGRAM UPDATES AND POST PROGRAM DETAILS TO OUR WEBSITE. Presently, MaxPro Hockey Club is proudly offering Online Private Training and Virtual Film Analysis.

We will continue to monitor the situation closely via various federal, state, and local public health agencies. We also remain in close contact with USA Hockey, Massachusetts Hockey, and the New England Premier Hockey League, as well as other major hockey organizations and events throughout the country. Our families can expect regular updates as this situation continues to evolve.

Thank you for your continued patience and understanding, as the health and safety of our players and families is of the utmost priority!
